At TarotWise, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you visit tarotwise.io and use our tarot reading tools.
Information We Collect
When you use our tarot reading tools, you may enter questions or topics for your readings. We do not require an account or personal identification information to use the service.

- IP address in anonymized or limited form
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze traffic, remember preferences, enforce rate limits, and understand general usage patterns. Our first-party analytics stores a random anonymous visitor identifier and records the page, general device category, country, referring domain, and UTM campaign values. We do not store the full referring URL or use this identifier to learn your real-world identity. Advertising partners may also use cookies to serve relevant ads.

Third-Party Services
We may use services such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and AI providers to operate and improve TarotWise. Questions submitted for readings may be processed by AI services, but we do not intentionally send personally identifiable information with those questions.
Data Retention and Security
Reading questions, structured reports, and saved readings are encrypted at rest. Account reports remain available while the account is active and can be deleted individually. After account deletion, identifiable reading content is scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Paid guest reports are retained for 90 days unless the guest claims or deletes them. Failed drafts and temporary exports are removed within 14 days; detailed usage events are retained for up to 180 days before aggregation or deletion. PDF files may be removed when inactive and regenerated from the encrypted report. Payment and tax records may be retained in pseudonymized form for the period required by law. We use HTTPS and reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure.
Your Choices for Service and Improvement
Processing needed to generate, save, and deliver a report is separate from optional improvement use. De-identified ratings and reason tags are used for improvement only with a separate choice. Using raw questions or full reports for model training requires another explicit opt-in and is off by default. Withdrawing either optional consent does not remove access to purchased reports or core service features.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tarotwise.io.
Children’s Privacy
TarotWise is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
